Art Requirements

For screen printing we accept the following file types:

• Adobe Illustrator (.EPS preferred)
• Adobe Photoshop 4.0 or higher (.PSD)
• Corel Draw any version
• Corel Photo Paint any version
• High Resolution JPEGs and PNGs (250 dpi print size)

We do not accept:

• Publisher
• Microsoft Word
• Microsoft PowerPoint
• Microsoft Office
• Low Resolution JPEGs (below 250 dpi)

Files are accepted on:

• Floppy Disk
• CD
• DVD
• Via E-mail : Sales@classicscreenprinting.com

Fill in your name, organization, event name, and phone number along with your due date in the form with your attached artwork so that we may quickly resolve any printability issues.

If submitting digital artwork, please refer to the additional requirements below. Please supply a black and white or color print out for each file.

DIGITAL ART REQUIREMENTS

For all file types :

• For all final text under the TEXT menu, "Convert to paths" to avoid font compatibility issues.
• Make sure to GROUP fonts that are converted to paths.
• Include any grayscale or CMYK files embedded within the files.
• Use spot colors or preferably pantone colors when submitting files.
• Please make file ACTUAL SIZE in inches (call for standards and maximums).
• Classic Screen Printing and Design will take care of halftone frequencies, underlays, and registration.
• Please supply a color or black and white printout for each file.

Adobe Illustrator and Corel Draw files :

• Save all Illustrator files in .EPS format with Illustrator 6 compatibility.
• Make sure to GROUP fonts that are created to outlines.
• Use custom spot colors, including black.
• Please make file ACTUAL SIZE in inches (call for standards and maximums).
• Try to avoid using "strokes (outlines)". Strokes are, at times difficult to trap.
• Please supply a color or black and white print out for each file.

Adobe Photoshop and Corel Photo-Paint files :

• Whenever possible, save .PSD files in multiple layers.
• Save one color images in grayscale mode (decreases file size).
• Convert RGB files to CMYK.
• JPEGs and Internet downloaded images are not suggested due to their low 72 dpi resolution.
• Please supply a color or black and white print out for each file.
