Due to the nature of vinyl cutting all artwork will be transformed to vectored artwork. An example of this format is an Adobe Illustrator EPS file. Bitmap files such as BMP, JPG, PSD, GIF, cannot be directly cut out of vinyl. The graphics in these bitmap files have to be traced and converted into vectored art to improve efficiency and precision of the artwork. Submitting bitmaped artwork may increase cost/production time.

In order to provide you with the best possible service, please prepare your files according to the following guidelines. Doing so will make it possible for us to meet your quality and delivery requirements.
Vector art should be delivered as an EPS file. Please convert all text to outlines. That way, you won’t have to worry about whether or not we have your fonts. If possible, choose to include all placed artwork in the file, otherwise, make sure to include the placed art on your disk or email.
NOTE about black: in the CMYK color space, there are thousands of combinations which will create black. On your screen, all these blacks look the same. However, when they are printed, there is a big difference between them. Most layout programs default to one-color black, or C:0, M:0, Y:0, K:100. To get the best print quality, you should use a four-color black, or C:75, M:75, Y:75, K:100. This will generate a much deeper, richer black.
Bitmap art should be delivered as a TIFF file. Other acceptable formats include: JPEG, BMP, GIF, and Targa. In terms of resolution, the closer your file is to 100 pixels per finished inch, the better. For example: your banner is going to be 3’ x 10’, or 36” by 120”, a resolution of 3600 x 12000 pixels is best. Lower resolutions will print and may be acceptable depending on your application. JPEG files start out compressed and are more or less “noisy” depending on the settings used. This can lead to undesirable artifacts in the finished print. GIF files use indexed color, and do not scale well. The importance of these factors depend on the final size and the average viewing distance.
